Sobre este artículo
Gollancz, 1946. 1st edition. Hardcover. Blue cloth with slightly faded spine lettering, pages all clean and tidy, no foxing, in a very good dustjacket, bar some spine-browning, some chipping at spine ends and corners, a piece of loss over the author's first name on the spine and a small hole lower down the spine. Dedicated to Philip Larkin, a friend from the author's time at St John's College, Oxford, this is one of the very best novels from 'The Golden Age of Detective Fiction', the third to feature Crispin's amateur sleuth Gervase Fen, and meeting much praise from fellow-writers such as Agatha Christie and P.D.James. Surprisingly scarce, too.
