E.P. Dutton & Company, 1941. Library Binding. Fair . 9x7x1. Mary Greenwalt. This classic is the first stated New Edition, with Music Supplement from May 1941- 7 months prior to Pearl Harbor! Book is in Fair or Acceptable condition with a tight binding and mostly clean pages, but with some soiling and a few tears. This is an ex-library book from the Denver, Colorado Public Library and was a gift to the Library from the Juilliard Music Commission. Book has the expected library markings and has a library rebound binding from "Dieter Binds Better" in Denver. Outside cloth covers show some soiling and wear primarily to the outside corners and outside spine. There is a slit of about 3" at the bottom of the front outside spine that has been re-glued. Truly a classic! No Dust Jacket.
