Sobre este artículo
London: Collins, 1980. First edition. Paperback. Very Good Indeed. 8.5" by 5.5". None. A scarcely found, excellent uncorrected proof of George Macdonald Fraser's novel. This scarcely found uncorrected proof copy of the first edition of celebrated Scottish author George Macdonald Fraser's 'Mr American' follows an American prospector visiting the 'old country', chronicling his life, unhappy marriage, and friendship with King Edward VII as he grows to appreciate the land of his roots. Uncorrected proof copy of the first edition. A mysterious and twisting novel, Fraser's 'Mr American' presents the author's classic historical work outside of his 'Flashman' series. In the publisher's original pre-publication paperback binding. Externally, generally very smart, with some shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, and some handling marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
