Sobre este artículo

Boston: Little Brown, 1915. First Edition Edward Phililps Oppenheim (1866 - 1946) was the author of more than 100 novels. He also wrote five novels under the nom de plume of Anthony Partridge. Monaco, the setting of this novel, was the setting of many Oppenheim novels. Will Grefe (1875 - 1957) was an engraver, illustrator and painter. He produced illustrations for many popular magazines and illustrated a number of Phillips Oppenheim novels. Mr. Grex was made into a silent movie, which starred Theodore Roberts, Dorothy Davenport and Carlyle Blackwell. A Reading Copy with considerable wear. Ex-library with stamp inside front cover and copyright page, fep appears to have been used for check out and is filled with pencilled notations and a small abrasion where sticker was removed. Front binding is cracked after fep, back pastedown is cracked. There is a small spot on title page and tissue covering frontispiece. Spots on first five pages, in the margins of pages 53-75 and 114-146 and there are also other pages with spots (we don't think it is foxing) or fingermarks. Two page spread illustration after page 168 is split at center seam and there is a small tear in the bottom margin of page 213/214. . First. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Grefe, Will. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
