Size: 8"-9" - Octavo (8vo). 256 pages. Item Type: Book. The text block is tight and the coated stock remains bright. There is some light foxing on the front and rear end papers and the first two leaves of the book (including the half-title page, frontispiece portrait, title page and copyright page. Hardbound in yellow cloth over boards with the title in black on the front cover and spine. There is some light foxing on the front cover. The corners are slightly turned in. Minimal shelf wear and head and foot of the spine. The spine of the unclipped (but unpriced) dust jacket is heavily faded from its original bright yellow. The yellow of the front and rear panels and flaps was protected and remains bright. The jacket has a little wear to the edges, primarily a 1/2" tear at the upper left corner of the front panel and a 1/4" chip at the foot of the front fold. There is a strip across the top of both folds that is slightly darkened with a little foxing in the top margin of the rear fold. The jacket is now protected in a clear archival Brodart sleeve.
