First Edition. 8vo. pp 408, Handsomely bound in contemporary red morocco with marbled brds and leather corners. five raised bands to the spine with gilt motifes of fox, fox's brush, crop and hunting horn between, ruled and decorated in gilt, a little rubbing to joints and extremities o/w binding in very good condition. Marbled end-papers, top edge gilt, title page with hand coloured vignette, 13 other hand-coloured plts, numerous wood-cuts within text a little spotting to title page and fly-papers o/w contents very clean and tight, no inscriptions. A very good first-edition copy in a handsome contemporary binding. .
