Sobre este artículo
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1945. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Red cloth with blue lettering, pictorial dust jacket. 241pp. Good plus/good plus. Touch of binding edgewear, with endpapers quite age toned and mild dampstaining to top page edges; jacket a bit edgeworn and age toned, with a few tiny edge chips and lightly sunned spine and coloring that's bled through to verso (but isn't visible on recto). Tight, decent first edition of the very last title featuring the clever lawyer. Train (1875-1945) was a New York County assistant district attorney and as a mystery novelist pioneered the courtroom thriller genre and immortalized attorney Ephraim Tutt.
