The second and third adventures from a four-book series featuring a kind-hearted London charwoman. 'Mrs. 'Arris Goes to New York' (1960) (MAGTNY) may be a first U.S. printing, but without any indication of such on the copyright page I doubt it, so no such claim is being made. 'Mrs. 'Arris Goes to Parliament' (1965) (MAGTP) is a "first edition in the United States of America." MAGTNY has grey boards w/line drawing of the title character to front cover, black spine w/gilt lettering, 192 pages. G w/cocked spine, spotting to top edge, front hinge cracked, previous owner's name/address sticker to front end paper, tanning, in price-clipped dust jacket w/chipping to corners/spine ends, 1.5" diagonal tear to top edge of front panel, 1" tear to bottom right spine edge, smudging. MAGTP has caramel cloth w/pink spine w/plum lettering, 152 pages. A mildly cocked VG w/a hint of wear to corners/spine ends, spotting to top edge, previous owner's name/address sticker to half-title, a bit of tanning, in price-clipped G dust jacket w/chipping to corners/spine ends, short edge/spine edge tears, moderate surface wear..
