She draws on letter, diaries, memoirs, and interviews to retell one of the most interesting chapters of Canadian history. Blue cloth, white titling to spine, SIGNED and inscribed by author to title page, a cluster of black and white photographs, 234 pages. Light edge wear, a small stripe of sunning to top and bottom, previous owner's blindstamp to ffep. Dust jacket shows minor shelf wear and is now protected in a Brodart cover.
