Trade edition with lower corner clipped and original price of $11.95 in tact. First printing of this second book in the Johnny Dixon series from Bellairs, released the same year as The Curse of the Blue Figurine. Beautiful jacket artwork by Edward Gorey, and uncommon in this condition.
