Los Angeles: the city, 1921. Pamphlet. 16p., 6x9 inches, printed on alkaline glazed paperstock and illustrated with nine b&w photos, pamphlet in stapled pictorial wraps. Spinefold is abraded with a rough 2-inch split, item generally edgeworn with handling smudges, clean and sound within, a fair to good copy. Cover and first several photos show LA's San Francisquito plant, its facade, interiors and headwaters, text describes present capacity. The other four photoillustrations show site selected for planned Boulder Canyon Dam: two with onlaid height numerals and a thick line indicating top of proposed dam.
