Minor rubbing along lower edges. Spine somewhat darkened. No writing. Hinges firm. This is the "New Edition" of the book, originally published in 1924. The author was the great niece of Alfred Lord Tennyson. In this book, she divides the reasons for murders into six categories: murder for gain, murder for revenge, murder for elimination, murder for jealousy, murder for the lust of killing, and murder from conviction. She provides examples of each using real life crimes. Scarce. 222 pp. including Index. .
