Based on the 1934 novel by Agatha Christie, which finds her series detective Hercule Poirot investigating a murder aboard a train, with the suspects portrayed by a who's who of Hollywood stars. Ingrid Bergman won a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award, and the film was nominated for five more, including Best Actor for Albert Finney and Best Adapted Screenplay. Remade in 2017, directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh.
