London: Collins Crime Club, 1951. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. (London: Published for THE CRIME CLUB by Collins 1951). Publisher's orange-red boards with black lettering to the spine. Boards really bright and clean. Some toning to the text block otherwise a VG+ copy. No inscriptions. No restoration. The dustwrapper is also in VG+ condition with a touch of creasing/wear at the spine tips and with a 1 cm tear at the bottom left-hand corner of the spine. A nice copy. Great cover art. An unusually taut plot and craft mystery (Good Reads). Photographs/scans available upon request
