Sobre este artículo
London: Walter Scott. Very Good+. 1889. First Edition. Hardcover. facsimile signatures and brief musical notation; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 351 pages; [1889] Walter Scott, London. HC 1st edition. Soundly bound and neat in original green cloth with beveled edged boards; pictorial title designs in black and gilt to cover and spine. A decoratively bound and designed "Birthday Note" book designed to record birthdays of friends, relatives and associated. Each day of the year is represented on facing pages, with versos recording notable musician birthdays on that date with a short musical notation, or an epigram or quote and the facing recto page space blank for the owner to record details relating to the person whose birth date they sahre with that musician. All edges gilt. Whisper of shelf rubbing to cloth at corner tips and spine ends. Endpapers at front hinge with partial split, for which we have archivally reinforced with japanese kozo. Paper. A single date we observe with a penciled name; otherwise unmarked and very attractive. VG+ .
