Half calf and half patterned paper. Backstrip and some of front cover taped over; appear to be that the backstrip has had to be taped back on. Corners bumped, and corners and edges worn. Red page edges. Front and back covers splitting inside, back taped. Frotispiece with velum. Illustrations in main body also with velum. Heavy foxing throughout but otherwise internally clean.
