Dustjacket is not price clipped and still shows the original price of $1.50. This is the TRUE 1ST PRINTING. This is a stated first edition which has become very difficult to find. If it doesn't state ""First Edition"" on the copyright page, then it isn't. Mr. Rutledge was South Carolina's first and most famous poet laureate. This copy includes a 3""x5"" index card sized loose insert which includes a list of books available signed by the author at the time. A rare find of this very popular Rutledge classic. 189pp. Lovely copy.
