Sobre este artículo
London: Thornton Butterworth Ltd., 1930. First English Edition (Second Printing) (Cohen A91.1.d) (Woods A37a). Hardcover (with Dust Jacket). Very Good. 8vo (392 pages, with photo frontispiece, maps, plans, one folding map, 16 tipped-in illustrations). This is a beautiful copy of the Second Printing of the First English edition, which was issued in the very month of publication and is identical to the first printing. Bound in rough pink cloth, this copy retains most of its original vivid pink luster on the front and rear faces, with the notoriously fade-prone spine modestly faded but not worn or frayed. The binding is square and the contents fine. There is a tiny vintage Times Book Club sticker on the rear pastedown. A handsome example of a near-first First.
