Sobre este artículo
This is a first edition of My Father's Son, Memories of War and Peace by the great Canadian author Farley Mowat (1921-2014). It is his collection of the letters between him and his father during Farley's time as a soldier during WWII. As one critic wrote "The lettersare testimony that life continues in the darkest circumstances. This collection of letters is a window back to the dark days of the Second World War, as seen through the jaded eyes of a young man who would become a famous writer."
340 pages, including a few photographs. Unclipped dust jacket.
This books was never read, or even opened. It was a gift from a daughter to a father, and there is an inscription on the front endpaper.
Below that is Mowat's signature.
Aside from the inscription, and a tiny bit of darkening of the paper on the inside flap of the dust jacket, there is not a mark in or on this book. It is pristine.
