Sobre este artículo
First hardcover edition, published by A.L. Burt, 1905. Charles and Alice Williamson, husband and wife, wrote several novels and travel books together. In this one, three women answer a newspaper ad for a tour of Italy, organized by a man and his chauffeur. Illustrated by Frederic Lowenheim. 324 pages, 5-1/4" X 8-1/4". Green cloth covered cover boards, with a nice vintage illustrated cover. No dust jacket. Cover boards show some smudge marks from use, a couple of dots of fading-staining on the back cover - both about the size of a raisin. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are relatively clean considering the age of the book. There are some bump marks to the top edge of the text block. Binding is tight. Not a library discard. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
