Sobre este artículo
London: T. Fisher Unwin, 1925. Book. Illus. by 14 black/white photos from the 1920s. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Subtitled, "A Raft-Voyage Through Dead Kingdoms". Good original green cloth with small spots on both boards, some edgewear ,but bright gilt title on the spine. Very clean and tight inside. Lacking the front free endpaper. Translated from German by Joseph McCabe, the author was a Swiss academic who led an expedition down the river in 1910-11, before WW One. Some of the places described or photographed are now destroyed. This copy lacking the frontispiece, hence a bargain price. Now protected in a clear, mylar sleeve. .
