Sobre este artículo

London: Macmillan, 1939. Ex library copy re-bound in dark red faux-morocco style boards and with new endpapers resulting in the loss of the endpaper map. Slight bumping to spine ends, card pocket, label and ink stamp inside front board, ink stamp and barcode label on f/ep, ink stamp on rev of title page. Otherwise a good clean tight copy of this not-so-common hard-cover book, dealing with the author's journey by horse from Bodmin to Riddings on the Scottish border in September-October 1938. She spent many years crofting in parts of the Highlands and wrote several books on her experiences, including "A Spade among the Rushes". 276pp, b&w frontispiece, no map.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Ex-Library.
