In this one, an actor impersonating a disappeared wife-killer finds himself suspected when a woman is found dead in his bedroom (I guess the trick is not to leave bodies sprawled higgledy-piggledy just any-old-place, but to always have a shovel with you). 237 pages + seven-page list of other Pocket Book titles. Internally tight and clean w/moderate edgewear (mainly flaking to bottom edge), light surface wear, tanning. Handle with care if this isn't going to go straight into the collection, because the glue is dry and the paper is brittle, and before you know it your lovely little vintage paperback will be known as "that stack of garbage over there in the corner." .
