Tan stiff paper wraps, brown lettering on front cover and spine, publishers ads for Mark Twain books on rear cover, small 8vo, 151 pp. Fold-out map by F. S. Weller before title page. Account of the author's experiences as a officer in the Emin Pasha Relief Expedition of 1887 to 1889 led by Henry Morton Stanley. Previous owners name top of front cover and top of title page, in pencil, and dated 1891. No other marks in book, binding tight. Map in very good condition. Covers clean, with price of 50 cents top of front cover, 1/2 inch tear top of rear cover. Book condition VG.
