Written by Ernest William Hornung, an English author and poet known for writing the A. J. Raffles series of stories about a gentleman thief in late 19th-century London. In the original quarter crushed morocco binding with blue cloth boards. Externally, smart with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Minor loss to the head of the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound. pages are very bright and clean throughout. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
