No dustwrapper, some wear to spine ends and corners of red boards, some fading to spine but gilt titles thereon are still clear, an old (original?) owner's name and address on f/ep, some yellowing and foxing to the pages, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Originally published in May 1922 just after the death of the author, this is a slightly later "Cheaper Edition" from July 1926. Anecdotes from the author's days as a country doctor in Kirkby Mazeard, North Yorkshire in the 1890s and early 20th century. 242pp, 4 b&w plates.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
