Advance presentation copy signed by Eleanor Roosevelt on tipped in sheet, stating "This copy of On My Own is one of those signed by Mrs. Roosevelt for advance presentation to friends of the author and publisher." Laid in is the business card of Lynwood Giacomini, an American publishing representative and bibliophile. Bound in publisher's blue cloth with gilt titles blocked in dark blue on spine. Near Fine with sunning to spine cloth and light soiling, pages toned. In acetate wrapper which is slightly shrunken, wavy and has an edge-chip; lacking the slipcase. A lovely copy.
