Portsmouth: Milestone Publications, 1985. First edition. Cloth. Fine/Very Good. 10" by 10". Michael Cummings. An anthology of cartoons from British newspaper cartoonist, Michael Cummings. The works to this anthology are largely political satires. Chapters include 'Thatcher Rules.. Er.. Ok!', 'The Royal Family'. ' By The Left, Quick March', 'With Love From Russia' and 'Sea of Troubles'. The Labour Party, left-leaning town council, trade unions and immigration were common targets of Michael Cummings' works. Held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Cummings often referred to himself as 'a rude little boy speaking out at the moment'. However, much of his work has been seen by many critics as bigoted, racist and reactionary. In the original cloth binding, held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with little to no shelfwear. Dustwrapper is generally smart with minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Small chip to the tail of dustwrapper, resulting in minor loss. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fine

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
