The first Modern Library edition in its unclipped dust wrapper, illustrated throughout by the author. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. The dust wrapper is unclipped and sound, with some shelf wear and a minor closed tear to the front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
