Illustrated with a few full-page maps and with several in-text black and white photographs. With a review slip from the publisher, addressed to the head writer for book reviews at the Milwaukee Sentinel. With a copy of the publisher's press release, with a note from a woman at Prentice-Hall to the head book reviewer at the Sentinel. A tiny dampstain on the fore-edge; jacket has the price rubbed away and shows a bit of sunning to the spine panel.
