FIRST EDITION, number 194 of five hundred hand numbered copies. One of the truly great epicurean mushroom cookbooks. A facsimile edition of 1979 contained a new preface by the famed gastronome Robert J. Courtine. Internally fine and sound. In printed and illustrated wrappers, with bumping to corners. Glassine. Near fine. Very rare. [OCLC locates no copies of the original, and only three copies of the 1979 facsimile; Volbracht 1703 (see note)].
