John Rowland was a British author and Uniterian minister (1907 - 1984) who also wrote several dective novels that are still popular. In this book he covers questions that science cannot solve (occult, religion, spiritualism, poltergeist, flying saucers, etc.) and also problems with Marxist dialecticians. Each chapter on a scientific discipline has a bibliography. First UK edition. Publisher's tape on verso of title page which has bled through to the title page. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. Dust jacket has tape at top and bottom of spine and one corner as well as some spotting. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 214 pages .
