Near fine/very good. Jacket slightly edgeworn, with inoffensive small abrasion at upper front flap from sticker removal. A handsome and tight first edition of #40 in the popular "Hardy Boys" series, with all proper points ("100-140" at bottom of front flap, lists to this title on interior list, 17 "Tom Swift" titles on rear jacket panel and 5 "Bret King" titles on rear flap). CARPINTIERI 1961A-1.
