Sobre este artículo
Hammondsworth: Penguin 157, 1938. Book. Very Good. Paperback. 2nd Penguin edition.. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. The first book featuring the evil Chinese genius, Dr. Fu-Manchu, and the beginning of his ongoing battle with Denis Nayland Smith (eventually Sir) and Smith's Watson-like side-kick, Dr. Petrie. 278 pages + advertisements at end promoting other Penguin titles. This originally had a dust jacket, but all that remains of it are the front and rear flaps. Edgewear, 1/4" separation at bottom right spine edge, another at top left spine edge, some chipping to spine ends, top left corners of back cover and last four pages chipped off, the usual tanning. Internally tight and clean, although the pages are getting brittle, and won't suffer gladly if roughly treated..
