England: The Sufi Order (Society in England), Publisher. Cloth. Good. no date, presumed early to mid 1900s. Brown cloth. No jacket. 89 pp. A philosophical/spiritual work applying the principles and teachings of Sufism to sound, in essence defining all sound as music and finding harmony in nature through sound. By Inayat Khan, an Indian professor of musicology who was a pioneer in spreading Sufism to Western culture through the establishment of schools in the UK beginning in 1914. His teachings focused on harmony in the world. GOOD condition. General fading. Minor soiling. A few small stains to the covers. Light foxing to the endpapers.
