Dealing with the myths and legends of Babylonia and Assyria, as they reflect the civilisation in which they developed. With a historical narrative from the early Sumerian age, over the periods of the Persian and Grecian Empires. Written by Donald Alexander Mackenzie, a Scottish journalist and folklorist and a prolific writer on religion, mythology and anthropology. Dated from the British Library. In the original pictorial green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light scattered spotting to the first and last few pages. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
