The text is accompanied by a couple of illustrations. The head of the spine of the book & the upper corners of the front and rearr board are lightly bumped, concelaed by the wrapper. A clean, fresh copy. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped. A little wrinkling to the laminate of the wrapper and the wrapper is slightly loose. Light shelf wear to the wrapper edges. No tears. A very good copy.
Sinopsis
The Name of the Rose, a novel by Umberto Eco, is a historical whodunnit — a murder mystery set in an Italian monastery in the year 1327. It is an intellectual mystery combining semiotics in fiction, biblical analysis, medieval studies and literary theory. First published in Italian in 1980 under the title Il nome della rosa, it appeared in 1983 in an English translation by William Weaver.

One of the best mystery novels of all time! It is set in the middle ages and as well as being a mystery it also dives into a lot of political, religious, and philosophical issues of the time. It offers amazing insights into everything that is happening there and a thrilling chase for a serial killer on who's killing anyone who gets their hands on one book, in a secluded benedictine abbey
