Minor pencil inscription to title page. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying. Book is forward leaning. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.
Sinopsis
A neuf heures, la salle du theatre des Varietes etait encore vide. Quelques personnes, au balcon et a l'orchestre, attendaient, perdues parmi les fauteuils de velours grenat, dans le petit jour du lustre a demi-feux. En haut seulement, a la troisieme galerie, autour de la rotonde du plafond ou des femmes et des enfants nus prenaient leur volee dans un ciel verdi par le gaz, des appels et des rires sortaient d'un brouhaha continu de voix, des tetes coiffees de bonnets et de casquettes s'etageaient sous les larges baies rondes, encadrees d'or.
