ONCE IN THE PARSONS COLLECTION OF RARE PACIFIC VOYAGES. 4to, approximately 255 x 200 mm, 10 x 8 inches, trimmed copy, folding frontispiece plan of the Bounty's launch and 3 charts, 2 folding, pages: iv, - title page and advert leaf, [1]- 88, bound in quarter red morocco with gilt lettering and rules, marbled boards, endpapers replaced when bound. Margins of the plan of the Bounty, unevenly trimmed with loss to ruled borders, 1 chart trimmed with loss of about an inch to lower part, no loss to image except border, small neat repair to blank side of large folding plate of the Bounty's track and 3 tiny pinholes just above the repair, small neat repair to top blank margin of last page, signs of adhesion or paper fault affecting the top and bottom margins of final 2 pages, 2 letters inked in, (see attached images), tiny closed tear to margin of advert leaf neatly repaired, a few pages have shallow creases, small pale brown stain to 1 page, otherwise a very good copy.
