A considerable portion of this journal is devoted to an interesting and sympathetic account of the 'Inuit', or Labrador Eskimo and he also expresses profound disapproval of the monopolistic and secretive policies of the company. Some brief discuss ion of Lord Selkirk's Red River Settlement.
