Boston: Robert S. Davis & Co., 1858. Leather spine over embossed cloth cover. Gilt titles on spine are bright, but a bit rubbed. 444 pages are bright but with foxing throughout. Benjamin Greenleaf 1786-1864, was an author of mathematics textbooks, illustrator and professor. An 1813 graduate of Dartmouth College, he also served a two-year term as Massachusetts legislator. Wear to covers, bumped and worn corners. Edgewear. Names, pencilled prices on fep. Blank page after fep has pencilled drawing with resultant rubbing to opposite page. Back hinge exposed at pastedown.
