Complete in 12 volumes, probably using the parts of the 1868 first edition of three volumes but with added updated census data to appendix. With three engraved title pages and complete with 68 colour 2-page maps bound in at the front, which feature the counties, and regions, countries, atlantic ocean and population distribution. 4to. Rubbing and bumping to edges, Heavier rubbing and fraying to tops and tails of spine of some volumes with slight loss. Small tears to joints on a couple of volumes. Sunning to spines and covers of two volumes. Occasional spotting within. Otherwise clean within, bindings sound. Some volumes fair but Good overall. *Due to size and weight, extra shipping fees may apply to overseas orders*
