John Hyde was the first editor. This issue includes: Sinbads of Science: The Narrative of a Windjammer's Voyage Among Islands of High Adventure in the South Atlantic by George Finlay Simmons with 87 illustrations, and Strange Habits of Familiar Moths and Butterflies by William Joseph Showalter with 44 Illustrations.
