Sobre este artículo

The Pilot Press, 1944. Hardback (No Dust Wrapper.). Poor. A reading copy, just. A generally shabby copy but text complete and acceptable.. Hardback. Physically 9¾” x 7½” (0.3 kg); 64pp; In the Target for Tomorrow series; Volume V in this series. Illustrated with B&W photographs. From the introduction: “Science has shown, and is showing us, what can he; be done to make human beings sound in bodily and mental health. By the application of science we can make ourselves longer-lived, taller, stronger, less prone to disease, anxiety and pain. We want to apply the findings of science in order to make our society healthier, and we are hampered by a whole array of organisational obstacles which would be tedious if it were not so vital to our well-being that they should be overcome. For example, we keep on having to ask? Who are responsible for the health of this or that section of the community?” || The book is on my shelves and will be carefully packed and posted from the pastoral paradise of Peasedown St. John, Bath, by a real bookseller in a real book shop - with my personal guarantee and my beady eye on the Consumer Contracts Regulations. REMEMBER! Buying my copy means the bookshop Jack Russells get their supper! My Book #161814|| Condition:

Sobre BookLovers of Bath

BookLovers of Bath is set in the pastoral idyll of Peasedown St. John in Somerset (God's Own Country) in the south west of England. My wife and I owned the village Post Office until the modern world caught up with us in 2014. At that point I converted the premises to a small book shop, Fact or Fable, with a stock of around 4,000 titles in stock. I've been selling books worldwide since 1997 and rather hope to get the hang of it shortly…
