The author describes the peoples of New Guinea, the Arru Islands, Ceram, the Moluccas, the Philippines, Mindanao, Sulu, Borneo, Malay Peninsula, the Adamans, the Sunda Chain as well as Melville Island and North Australia, Port Essington, Carpentaria (Australian aboriginees).
