Sobre este artículo
New York, NY: Frederick A. Praeger Publishers, 1965 Frederick A. Praeger Publishers, New York. 1965. Hardcover. First Edition. Published for the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution, and Peace. Retired US Army Special Services Library copy. Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for library stamps on the endpapers, half title page, and textblock top. Book Condition: Good +; scatter splash stains on textblock fore edge; suntoned spine; shelfwear to head, tail, and tips. No DJ. Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 476 pp 8vo. This work is based on a conference held at The Center for Strategic Studies, Georgetown University. This book and conference were designed to address the weak leg in the NATO Alliance and that is the matter of cohesion in which all 15 NATO nations remain firmly united against a serious threat, be it external or internal. At present some members have developed a resistance, or resentment towards the "hard sell" that is being forced on the member nations to support U.S foreign policy dictates, whether directed towards the Soviet Union, Europe, the Far East, or Southeast Asia. A clean very presentable reading copy.

Sobre Walnut Valley Books/Books by White
Walnut Valley Books is a small independent home-based business with the bulk of my holdings being of an American military nature covering everything from the Revolutionary War to the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I also have holdings of books on the Middle East, the southwestern United States (New Mexico especially, Kansas related titles, Oklahoma related titles, and other regionally specialized books. All of my holdings are hand-selected to be good quality books of interest to the reader, historian, or the collector. In addition to the above, you will also find a wide range of other topics such as Medical, US History, autobiographical, biographical, sports, women's studies, and many other eclectic topics.
