Binding is holding securely, but there are a couple spots where it is starting to crack. "That the Solomon Islands will one day be of great importance to the Australian Colonies I have not the slightest doubt. Any information about them should therefore be welcome. The object of my visits to the islands was neither political nor commercial, but the following pages, while giving some account of the islands, will enable the outside world to form an idea of the state of affairs now existing."
