Richard Jefferies was a notable English nature writer known for his works, 'Bevis' and 'After London'. With publisher's advertisements to the rear of the novel. In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with shelf wear to the edges. Wear to the spine. The joints and hinges are tender but still firm. Spine is darkened and age-toning to the edges of the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Binding strained between pages 64 and 63. Pages generally bright and clean, with some spotting towards the front and back. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
