The Naval Defence of India

Bombay: Thacker and Co Ltd, 1949. Very informative book on the Naval history of India, 248 pages in overall clean condition just some very slight browning to edges of pages and endpapers,some stamps to a few pages and illustrations, stamps are from some Survey company the name on each stamp has been erased, on one page this has caused a small hole but does not affect text or illustrations. Old rare book dealers stamp on front endpaper and officers mess 26 written in ink on front endpaper. Binding sound but a little loose at front and rear inner hinges where paper has spit but hinges holding, Many B/w photographs, illustrations and fold out map at rear, plus very informative text. dustwrapper is rubbed and worn with some small losses, it has become stuck to the boards at front probably from damp at some time, it has been price clipped,Though not perfect still a reasonable example of this book with very rare dustwrapper SEE IMAGES.
