Vols 1 spine taped and Vol 5 clean no markings. They provide an essential and invaluable source for the further research of the entire naval war in all the parts of the world. NOTE: Plans 4 and 5 missing from Vol 2. Plans 1-3 missng in Vol 3 map book, Map 9 missing from Vol 4 mapbook. All other maps appear to be present and undamaged. Remaining volumes are bright and clean. Most have previous owner bookplates inside front cover. Text is clean. Hard to find in clean condition.. 1st Edition. Cloth. Very Good+/No Jacket - Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
